An undergraduate education at the University of Saint Katherine positions students for successful applications to graduate schools across the country.  USK also offers streamlined options for students who want to pursue graduate opportunities in certain fields:

Business and Public Service: USK students and alumni are automatically eligible to enroll in USK’s Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program provided they achieved a GPA of 3.0 and remained in good standing.  USK students with a .2.5 to 2.9 GPA may be eligible provided they meet other requirements.

Teaching: The Certificate of Teaching in Independent and Parochial Schools (CTIPS) is a joint program between the University of Saint Katherine and the University of San Diego to provide students with an opportunity to take education courses that will prepare them with the knowledge and skills to teach in independent or parochial schools. Students complete five courses at USD while earning their degree at USK. The Program allows entry into USD’s Master’s in education programs (public school teaching credential): Master’s Credential Cohort Program.

Health Care Professions: USK students and alumni with a degree in Kinesiology or Natural Science are automatically eligible to enroll in USK’s Master of Science in Kinesiology provided they achieved a GPA of 3.0 and remained in good standing.  USK students with lower GPAs or with degrees in other fields may be eligible provided they meet other requirements.  Further, USK has an agreement with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) that grants qualified students a provisional early acceptance to LECOM’s School of Pharmacy, School of Dental Medicine or College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Theology: USK offers a Master of Arts in Orthodox Christian Theology. Although this degree program is designed primarily for men and women with substantial preparation beyond the undergraduate level, interested USK undergraduates are encouraged to discuss their options with the University President, Dr. Frank Papatheofanis fpapath@usk.edu.
